Ms. Bredehoft, a native of Northern Minnesota , has been successfully trying cases in state and federal courts in Virginia and the District of Columbia for 22 years.
Ms. Bredehoft has been honored to be included in The Best Lawyers In America every year since 1997. She was named by Washingtonian magazine as one of the "Fifty Best Lawyers in Washington" in 1997, one of the "Forty Top Lawyers Under 40" in 1998, one of the “75 Best Lawyers” in 2002, and listed as one of the “Top Employment Lawyers ” in 2004. Ms. Bredehoft was also featured as one of 12 top Employment Lawyers in the Washington Metropolitan Area in Legal Times in April 2004 and in 2006 was featured in Virginia Super Lawyers and listed as one of the “Top 10 Virginia Super Lawyers . ” In 2003, Ms. Bredehoft received the honor of being inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honor limited to the top 1% of attorneys in each state and in 2005, Ms. Bredehoft was inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a membership limited in the United States to 500 trial attorneys under the age of 70.

Significant medical malpractice verdicts include Tyler v. Molchon (Fairfax Co. Cir. Ct. 2000) ($1.3 million verdict for wrongful death “suicide by cop” against psychiatrist who prematurely released decedent, upheld by Virginia Supreme Court, 2001); Johnson v. Kaiser Permanente (Fairfax Cty. Cir. Ct. 1993) ($950,000 verdict for emotional distress where grandmother was misdiagnosed with AIDS).
